Commander 1st Australian Division, MAJGEN W Bridges, died at sea from wounds sustained at GALLIPOLI. His body was returned to Australia and he is buried at the Royal Military College, Duntroon. He is one of only two of the more than 60,000 Australians who died in WW1 to be brought home
