Arrival Time
Please enter the Anzac Memorial from the Liverpool Street entrance. We ask that the teacher in charge of the excursion enter the Memorial initially and sign in at the Reception Desk. Students and other staff/adults are requested to wait outside the main entry. Memorial staff will then assist the teacher in charge to organise student entry.
Please arrange to arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your scheduled starting time to allow time to place bags in storage and be ready to start the workshop promptly. If you arrive at the Memorial more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to guarantee your workshop’s duration.
For any further queries, please contact the Learning Team on (02) 8262 2904 or email education@anzacmemorial.nsw.gov.au.

Classroom teachers and accompanying adults are responsible for the behaviour and engagement of their students at all times. Students are expected to:
- Be silent and display respect during the 11am Service of Remembrance
- Take hats off when inside the Memorial
- Not eat or drink inside the Memorial
- Switch off mobile phones
Lunch and Meal Breaks
The Anzac Memorial is a designated sacred and commemorative site. Food and drinks are not to be consumed inside the Memorial. However, Hyde Park offers many shaded grassed areas for picnic lunches. Please take meal breaks into consideration when planning your visit.
Self-Guided Schools
Self-guided schools are required to make a booking so that the Memorial can avoid overcrowding and coordinate self-guided visits with existing school bookings. Please note that priority is always given to schools attending for educator-led programs.
Cancellations and Changes to Bookings
One week’s notice is required for cancellation of all workshops. Cancellations received without the required notice cannot be processed and full payment will be required.
All changes to existing bookings must be confirmed in writing 7 days prior to visiting the Memorial, including all changes to student numbers. Where notification is not received regarding a reduction in student numbers, the full amount for the number of students in the original booking will be charged.
Payment
Please note that an invoice for your workshop will be generated following your visit to the Anzac Memorial. Final student numbers will be recorded on the day of your visit. Payment in full must be made within 10 business days of receipt of the invoice. Payment can be made by EFT, cheque, or by credit card on request. Further payment details will be provided in your invoice.
