Explore the Anzac Memorial's fascinating art, architecture and history on a tour led by one of our knowledgeable guides.

We offer three guided tours:
•    Free Highlights Tour (Up to 8 people)
•    Group Memorial Tour (from 10-24 people) 
•    School Tours

Free highlights tour

Discover the personal stories, stunning Art Deco architecture and commemorative symbolism behind the Anzac Memorial with a free one-hour guided highlights tour.

Led by one of our knowledgeable guides, the highlights tour explores the Memorial’s architectural design that dates back to the 1930s, the more recent award-winning Centenary Extension commemorating over 100 years of service, and the significance of the Memorial’s many incredible sculptural features. It is an unforgettable way to experience the Anzac Memorial.

Morning tours also include the daily Service of Remembrance at 11am.

Highlights Tours take place every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 10.30am and Saturdays at 1pm, departing from the Anzac Memorial Shop near the Western Entrance. Bookings are recommended.

From 1 May 2024, Highlights Tours will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10am and Saturdays at 1pm.

Group tours

Led by one of our guides, your group will delve into the art, architecture, and history of the Anzac Memorial. As you move through the Memorial, your guide will take you on a journey where you will experience the symbolism and interpret the many sculptures that adorn the building in the interior and exterior. Discover the meaning of Sacrifice to generations past and present, including the recognition of Women’s contribution whether serving or at home.  

As you enter into the Centenary Extension, you will discover the significance of the soil samples and how they represent the many that enlisted from the suburbs cities and towns of NSW from which it was gathered. Explore the fate of those that embodied the meaning of Courage Endurance and Sacrifice during the Great War.  

We trust that your experience will leave you reflecting on the sacrifices experienced by those that have served and their loved ones.

Group tours can be booked at a time convenient to you and are a free service for general members of the public however donations are welcome.

Pre-paid Coach or Travel groups wishing to book a tour may incur a fee.
